I chose to highlight this project because it demonstrate my vision, commitment to quality, attention to detail, and physical processes. I designed this project and created it through the entire production pipeline.
I got the chance to display some of the watercolor frames at a gallery for the album release.
This projects demonstrates my instincts for design/visual communication, my ability to work creativity with no budget, and my extreme dedication/attention to detail.
As you can see in the end credits of the video, I used water we collected from the lake in the opening and closing sequence to hand-paint each frame in watercolor.
At the album release gallery event I got to see the music video projected alongside live accompaniment from the artist.
Here is a snippet from that performance.
I painted all the cells and backgrounds using windows as lightboxes.
I did all the compositing in after effects.
